Scattered rubbish

A pile of cinders was dumped in a field off Lutz School Road sometime between 6 p.m. June 21 and 9 a.m. June 24, state police in Indiana reported Tuesday. The field is owned by Weaver Wilson, 70, police said.

Simple assault

Donald George Dishong, 84, and his wife, Laura Mae Dishing, 85, have each been charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment following an argument that led to a physical confrontation on Saturday, according to state police Indiana. Both were taken into custody and arraigned before District Judge Guy Haberl. They later were released on an unsecured bond.



Retail theft

Two men stole undisclosed items from the Resort Plaza Walmart on May 22, state police in Indiana reported Tuesday. The theft remains under investigation, police said.




State police in Indiana said they have charged Jearim Gonzalez, 24, of Homer City, with theft and theft by deception. According to police, Gonzalez took a ring, earrings and a necklace from the home of a 44-year-old Lucernemines woman and sold the jewelry to a local jewelry store.



Criminal mischief

State police in Indiana said they have charged two Blairsville girls with criminal mischief for damaging a vehicle belonging to Dylon Brown, 18, of Northern Cambria. The girls, ages 15 and 17, are from Blairsville. Police said they damaged the vehicle Tuesday evening while it was parked at 418 Moetown Road.
