Retail theft

State police in Indiana are looking for the man who stole a Dell desktop computer from the Oakland Avenue Walmart early this morning. Police said the man is white, possibly in his 20s, and about 6 feet tall with dark hair. Anyone with any information has been asked to call the Indiana station at (724) 357-1960.




Someone broke into a building along Poplar Road and stole an aluminum brake belonging to Jeffrey Syster, 46, according to state police in Indiana. Police said the burglary occurred sometime between June 30 and Saturday. The loss was estimated to be $1,200.

A diamond engagement ring, a diamond wedding band and a diamond pendant were stolen from the home of Heather Luzier, 34, of 151 Lovejoy Road, sometime between June 21 and 25, according to state police in Indiana. A Stihl chain saw with a broken safety handle also was taken, police said.



Criminal mischief

Someone punctured three tires on a vehicle belonging to Cynthia Pitrone while it was parked at her Woodridge Drive home, according to state police in Indiana. Police said the incident occurred between 10 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday.




State police in Indiana are investigating a burglary in which someone entered the home of David Ciocca, 50, of 2241 Nowrytown Road, and stole the video surveillance equipment he had installed following a previous burglary.

Police said the latest burglary occurred on July 1.
