WEDDING: Nichole Goss and Adam Lightcap

Nichole Valerie Goss and Adam Paul Lightcap were joined in marriage on Sept. 29, 2012, at Clymer United Methodist Church.

Nichole is the daughter of Deborah and the late Donald Goss, of Deckers Point. Adam is the son of Kathy Campbell, of Clymer, and James and Bonnie Lightcap, of Aultman.

The ceremony was performed by Pastor Brian Kellar, with music provided by Betty Myers, pianist, and vocalist Missy Brady. April Boyce provided a reading and Jill Metcalf lit the memory candle.

As part of the double-ring ceremony, Nichole presented Adam with her late father’s wedding band and Adam presented Nichole with the wedding band of his late grandmother, Leona Putt.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her family, was escorted by her nephew, Dylan Goss.

The matron of honor was Robin Gromley, cousin of the bride, and the maid of honor was Jalessa Goss, also a cousin of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Lynnette Patterson, cousin of the bride; Kaylia Lightcap, sister of the groom; Jennifer Neal, sister-in-law of the bride; Dr. Bethany Cann, friend of the bride; Julie Learn, friend of the bride; and Linae Lightcap, sister-in-law of the groom. The junior bridesmaid was Brooke Gromley, cousin of the bride. Flower girls were Ryleigh Goss, niece of the bride, and Abigail Brady, cousin of the groom.

Ron Cupp and Dan Dick served as best men.

The groomsmen were Travis Lightcap, brother of the groom; Brendt Goss, brother of the bride; John Gromley, friend of the groom; Ken Laney, friend of the groom; Jeff Gromley, friend of the groom; and Stephen Campbell, brother of the groom. The junior groomsman was Dylan Goss, nephew of the bride. Ring bearers were Colten and Logan Goss, nephews of the bride.

An outdoor tented reception was held at the home of Tom and Karen Torrell, aunt and uncle of the groom. Entertainment for the evening was provided by Mixmaster DJ services.

Nichole is a graduate of Purchase Line High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she received a bachelor’s degree in sociology. She is currently a full-time graduate student pursuing a Master of Occupational Therapy degree at Saint Francis University, Loretto.

She will graduate in May 2014. She is employed by Luigi’s Ristorante, Clymer.

Adam is a graduate of Penns Manor High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he received a bachelor’s degree in criminology. He is employed as a paramedic with Citizens’ Ambulance Service, and also as a 911 dispatcher for Indiana County EMA.

The couple resides in Starford.
