Jerry and Carol Bash Doolin celebrated their golden wedding anniversary recently at a lawn party hosted by their children and attended by family and friends.
They were married on July 5, 1963, at the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Indiana.
Jerry is a U.S. Navy veteran, and worked as a mine mechanic. He is retired from Consol Energy.
Carol worked as a private duty nurse and later as a nurse at St. Andrew’s Village.
They now own and operate Doolin Appliance.
They have three children, Vickie, Michael and Christy; eight grandchildren: Jennette, Tyler, Madison, Morgan, Makenzie, Mychaela, Mathew and Jack; and a great-granddaughter, Lilly.
They live in Indiana and attend Devine Destiny Church and Covenant Church of Pittsburgh.
