TEE TIME: Starting tee time this week for the Chestnut Ridge Women’s golfers will be 9 a.m. Arrival time for players is 8:30 a.m. New members are always welcome. They played on Wednesday. “O.N.E.S.” was the game of the day. Jenny Farabaugh was the chairwoman for the event. The “longest drive on #4” high handicap winner was Pat Massimino. Margaret Crocker was the low handicap winner. De Iezzi won the 50/50.
FLOWER SHOW: The Weeders and Seeders Garden Club of Ligonier will present a standard flower show, “Two-gether: Flowers and Art,” Saturday at the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art. Entries from the general public as well as those of club members will be welcomed and may be registered between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday and 8 and 9 a.m. Saturday.
