Brief traffic stoppages are expected Wednesday on Route 85 to finish a box culvert installation as part of the project to replace the bridge carrying Route 85 over a tributary of Cowanshannock Creek in Armstrong County.
On Wednesday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., 15-minute traffic stoppages will occur as the culvert installation is completed. There will be one traffic stoppage per hour.
PennDOT reminds motorists to be alert to changing conditions and to pay attention to flaggers in the work zone.
This $994,171 bridge replacement project is being constructed by M and B Services LLC of Clarion. The project is expected to be completed before the end of August.
