East Wheatfield Township


Jim Decker, who lives along Locust Drive, near Cramer, told state police at Indiana a burglar entered his residence and stole cash.

Police said the burglary happened between 3:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Monday.


Cowanshannock Township, Armstrong County

Bad checks

State police at Kittanning charged Jeffrey Sims, 36, of McIntyre, with issuing three worthless checks to the We Gotta Bar and Grill, in NuMine. Police said the bad checks were issued between March 12 and 14.


Rural Valley, Armstrong County


State police at Kittanning charged Naomi Crytzer, 35, of Rural Valley, with theft.

Police said Crytzer was hired to be an assistant to John Zemko, 86, of Rural Valley, and she used her position to take Zemko’s medication on July 7.


During a conversation along Main Street at 4:20 p.m. on July 7, Josey Hawkins, 22, of Rural Valley, threatened Dawn Rice, 42, of Spring Church, according to state police at Kittanning. Police charged Hawkins with harassment.
