I was shopping recently at the ALDI store in Indiana and was touched by an act of a total stranger.
When I was in the checkout line, my total came to more than I had brought with me. I told the cashier to start taking some items off so I could cover the order. The cashier was very kind and not once complained.
I then went over to start packing my groceries, and a woman came to me and said, “Wait here a moment.”
Not knowing the woman, I thought maybe she had confused me with someone else and so I finished packing my items. When I turned around, there she stood with the groceries I had placed back in her hand. This kind stranger then said, “These are for you.”
I was shocked. I couldn’t thank her enough. I figured I would write this, hoping she sees it and also to inspire others. I want her to know that I really appreciate what she did, and I plan on paying for some stranger’s items in the store.
God bless you and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
We need more people in the world like you who are willing to help others in a time of need.
