For the eighth consecutive year, the Indiana County Bar Association awarded scholarships to local students who are attending an accredited law school.

The bar association is committed to helping graduates of county high schools to complete law school and become successful attorneys.

The scholarship winners are Katherine McLay, left, and Russell Bopp, right, who were each awarded $1,250. Jonathan Mack, chairman of the Indiana County Bar Association Scholarship Committee, presented the awards Thursday.
