The Pennsylvania Association of Retired State Employees hosted a speaker on the Civil War at their recent meeting.

Tim Nupp is an Indiana County War historian and spoke about the significance of the Grand Army of the Republic in the post Civil War era. Nupp’s grandfather, Franklin Nupp, and his great-uncle, John Henry Nupp, both served in the Union Army during the Civil War.
