David K. Mineta, White House drug policy deputy director, addressed those in attendance Wednesday at Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Mid-Atlantic Addiction Research and Training Institute at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.

Started in 1988, the program is among the first in the country to utilize the expertise of treatment programs and a university to provide raining in the fields of chemical dependency and associated problems.
