Man, 18, killed by freight train

PITTSBURGH (AP) — A man was struck and killed by a train while walking along tracks in the Pittsburgh area, police said.

Officials in Allegheny County said the victim was hit on the CSX tracks in Moon Township near Sewickley Bridge shortly after 4 p.m. Saturday.

A spokesman for the county medical examiner’s office identified the victim Sunday as Trevor Fluharty, 18, of Leetsdale. An autopsy is slated to determine the cause and manner of death.
