Rae-Lyn defeated Bob’s Pizza, 3-1, in an Indiana Over-40 Baseball League game Sunday.
Jason Bush hit a two-run double in the fifth inning to drive in the eventual game-winning run. Jack Yard cracked a solo homer for Rae-Lyn (2-1).
Mike Hogan allowed no runs and one hit in 3 2-3 innings to earn the win.
Bill Roush went 2-for-2 to lead Bob’s Pizza. Dave Fairman suffered the loss.
• Marion Center Bank scored a run in the bottom of the seventh inning to outlast Hogan’s Heroes, 14-13, in a shootout.
Every Marion Center Bank player registered a hit, including Ken Anderson, George Galo and Ed Kocinski, who had three hits apiece. Anderson scored three runs, including the game-winner, and Matt Morrow, Anderson and Bill Perroz each pitched, with Morrow earning the win.
Jim Hogan, Tom Harley, Kevin Schrecengost and Frank Truman had two hits apiece for Hogan’s Heroes.
