H.S. FOOTBALL: Indiana 33, Hampton 7

PITTSBURGH — Sean Thompson passed for 155 yards and three touchdowns, DeQuan West rushed for 116 yards and a score, and Indiana kicked off the 2013 season with a whipping of Hampton on Friday night in a WPIAL Greater Allegheny Conference game at Fridley Field.

Thompson threw touchdown passes to Riley Stapleton (4 and 61 yards) and Darrious Carter (5 yards). Ian Scott added a 25-yard rushing touchdown for Indiana’s final touchdown.

The Indiana defense was especially tough. It limited the Talbots to just 42 yards in the first half and forced four turnovers. Stapleton intercepted two passes.
