CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Denny Hamlin injured his right hand in the same crash at Bristol in which fellow Toyota driver Martin Truex Jr. fractured his right wrist.

Hamlin told SiriusXM Radio on Thursday night that he’s wearing a splint on his hand because he was unable to free it from the spokes of his steering wheel before he spun in the Saturday night crash. The injury is near his thumb.
