The year’s final 3-D archery shoot will be held Sept. 22 at the Keystone Sportsmen’s Club, Atwood.
All proceeds from the shoot will benefit the work of the Hunt of a Lifetime Foundation, a nonprofit organization with a mission to grant hunting and fishing adventures and dreams for those 21 and younger who have been diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses.
This year the club is sponsoring Brandon Fulmer, 15, of Glenshaw, who has been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis.
He would like to hunt mule deer.
There will be a basket raffle with gifts worth several thousand dollars, including overnight stays, airplane rides, train rides, golf, bowling, bike rides, boat rides, works of art, gift cards and more.
Tickets will be on sale from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and drawings will begin at 1:30 p.m. You need not be present to win. Lunch will also be available.
The event is a senior project for Katie Fairman and Melissa Armstrong at Marion Center Area High School.
