MEETING: The Indiana District United Methodist Women will hold their annual fall meeting Saturday at Whitesburg United Meth-odist Church from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration will start at 9 a.m. The program focus will be on human trafficking/immigration. The meeting will include morning fellowship, lunch, books and program resources. Those attending are asked to bring items for the Ruth M. Smith Center. HARVEST JUBILEE: The 2013 Avonmore Harvest Jubilee will be held Sept. 20, 21 and 22 beginning at 5 p.m. Friday and ending at 5 p.m. Sunday. Highlights of the event will be a parade at 1 p.m. on Saturday and a car/truck cruise, headliner Flying Elvis Music Circus and fireworks on Saturday night.
Sunday will feature a flea market on Westmoreland Avenue. Participants can set up a table for $5. There is no admission fee. Live music, festival food, bingo, crafts, games and kids’ activities will continue throughout the weekend. Sunday vespers will conclude the event at the First Presbyterian Church. The theme is Celebrate America.

ELECTRONICS BASH: The Saltsburg Electronics Bash will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. Sept 22 at River Hall. Doors open at 1 p.m. Tickets are $20 each and include two chances to win great prizes. Delivery is available, so you do not need to be there to win. Tickets include admission (age 21 and over) with free food and beverages.

MEETING: The Indiana Garden Club will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Trinity United Methodist Church. It will be a floral design challenge creating a fall table arrangement using edibles. Come and bring a friend.
KARAOKE: The Avonmore Community Association is sponsoring a Karaoke with Gypsy fundraiser at 9 p.m. Saturday at the Polish National Alliance Club, 501 Indiana Ave., Avonmore. There will be light refreshments, raffles and jello/pudding shots. All proceeds will be used to support the annual Harvest Jubilee.
FESTIVAL: A fall festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Dayton First Church of God, Route 839. There will be vendors, woodcarving, crafts and baked goods. A hot lunch will be served. For more information, call (814) 257-8380.
REUNION: The 58th annual Livermore reunion will be held at noon Sept. 21 at the Hopewell Methodist Church, Route 217 North, Blairsville. Balloons will mark the driveway. All former residents and friends are encouraged to attend and bring a guest.
