The Indiana Photo Club will begin its 2013-14 club year with its first meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The meeting will take place in Room 104 of Keith Hall on the Indiana University of Pennsylvania campus.
At this meeting, the group will plan for upcoming meetings, discuss club procedures and participation in international competitions, and share ideas about photography in general. The first monthly competition of the year will take place.
Member Jim Reber will provide the entertainment for this meeting, featuring photographs taken on a trip to Italy. “A Photo Tour of Tuscany” will feature photos of Lucca, Pisa, Sienna, Florence and the famous countryside of Tuscany in Italy. Those in attendance will see historic buildings and the streets of Italy, along with river scenes and views from towers. And, of course, Reber’s photographs will show plenty of the lovely green countryside of Tuscany.
Meetings of the Indiana Photo Club are for the purpose of enjoying the art of photography and so that members can improve their techniques and the images that they obtain. The public is invited to attend and participate in these meetings, and photographers at all skill levels are welcome.
