DeQuan West scored two long touchdowns to highlight Indiana’s 28-point third-quarter outburst, and Indiana rolled to a thrashing of Derry on Friday in a WPIAL Class AAA Greater Allegheny Conference game.

West rushed for a game-high 152 yards on only 14 carries, including a 72-yard touchdown run, and he caught one pass for 50 yards, which also went for a touchdown.

Keldon Spicher led an opportunistic Indiana defense with two interceptions, both of which he returned for scores, of 33 and 38 yards.

Sean Thompson passed for 92 yards and a touchdown, and he rushed for 54 yards on two carries, both of which went for touchdowns. Ian Scott (55 yards) and Jacob Zilinskas (42) added touchdown runs for the Indians (2-2).

Kerek Hoffman scored the Trojans’ lone touchdown, on an 11-yard pass from fellow freshman Josh Bauer in the closing minute of the game.
