READING (AP) — Some crimes are considered whodunits. But police in one eastern Pennsylvania city are trying to figure out not only who shot a man, but which of the victim’s two identities is correct.
The Reading Eagle reported that Reading police don’t know if the man shot Friday night is Galdino Pablo Aquilar, 30, or Juan Pablo Orihuela-Alvarado, 28.
Police said fingerprints taken by the Berks County coroner’s office identified the victim as Aquilar, but they say a foreign identification card listed the other identity.
Results from an autopsy Saturday were still pending.
Police have a suspect in the shooting, but have not released a name or description.
