Dr. Aaron W. Calhoun, a 1993 graduate of Indiana Area Senior High School, has been selected to receive the Kentucky Medical Association’s Educational Achievement Award for 2013.
This award is presented to individuals who have made outstanding contributions and achievements in the area of continuing medical education.
Calhoun is a graduate of Washington and Jefferson College, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Northwestern University Pediatric Residency Programs and Harvard University Fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care.
Calhoun is associate professor of Pediatrics, Director of Simulation for Pediatric Assessmement Resuscitation and Communication Program at Kosair Children’s Hospital, University of Louisville.
Aaron resides in Louisville with his wife, Jamie, and children, Noah, Samuel and Merideth.
