S&T Bank announced Friday that Woodland Hills High School has been named the winner of the “S&T Bank My School, My Award” program.

The school received $5,000 during a special check presentation ceremony with former Pittsburgh Steelers football running back and S&T Bank ambassador Jerome “The Bus” Bettis.

Schools across S&T Bank’s 11-county footprint were invited to apply for the program. As part of the application, schools were asked how they would use the money to help increase educational opportunities for students. Applications were reviewed by a selection committee made up of bank personnel, and the winner was selected on Sept. 6.
