MARION CENTER — Blake Orr threw for 127 yards but threw two costly interceptions late, and Marion Center couldn’t stop Shade’s read-option attack as the Panthers ran for 161 yards in a non-conference victory Friday night.

Noah Hoover had 136 totals yards, including 103 on five catches, but the Stingers couldn’t score on their final offensive play of the game. Zach Edwards scored the only touchdown for the Stingers, a 5-yard plunge in the second quarter to give Marion Center a 6-0 lead.

For Shade, Tyler Kline took advantage of some huge holes on his way to 132 yards on 23 carries and scored both Shade touchdowns. He also came up with a big stop on fourth-and-10 from after Marion Center had driven to the 11-yard line on the last possession of the game.
