PITTSBURGH (AP) — Shots fired inside a Pittsburgh nightclub early Sunday morning killed two people, including a mother of three, and injured several other patrons, authorities said.
The victims were identified as Demetrius Broadnax, 27, of Wilkinsburg, and Jasmine Morris, 21, of Penn Hills, according to the Allegheny County coroner’s office.
Officers were on patrol in the city’s Homewood section around 3 a.m. when they saw several people run out of the Diverse Banquet Hall, police said.
No arrests had been made as of Sunday afternoon.
Two wounded women approached the officers, including one who had been shot in the foot, police said. After helping them, authorities went inside and found Broadnax and Morris dead at the scene, police said.
