On Nov. 5, registered voters are to go to the polls for the general election.
In case anyone is confused or undecided about which Indiana Area school board candidate to support, I’d like to offer some advice.
Only two candidates are experienced with free-market enterprise in that they are chief operating officers (CEOs) of their private business firms.
Julia Trimarchi Cuccaro and Walter Schroth are true fiscal conservatives, and their paychecks depend solely on balancing their companies’ budgets based upon good business acumen and strategies. They don’t get local, state or federal government retirement money each month as other candidates do.
Candidates Debbie Clawson and John Uccellini are both recipients of government retirement paychecks, and I believe they would feel quite comfortable in spending your tax dollars. There doesn’t seem to be any concern for real estate tax burden on you, the taxpayer. They will use the cliche, “put children’s education first” to blindside your vote.
You do not need to vote for all five candidates. Vote only for Julia and Walter to protect your tax dollars and send a message.
