SALE: A fall pottery sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 15 and 16 at the Robertshaw Building on the Indiana University of Pennsylvania campus, 650 South 13th St.
Pottery, ceramics and other handmade gift items produced by IUP students and faculty, as well as other artists from the community, will be available. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted. Proceeds from the sale benefit ceramic events and programming in the art department of IUP and the community.
FESTIVAL: The Purchase Line United Methodist Church will hold a harvest festival from 5 to 8 p.m. today. Apple and pumpkin desserts and drinks will be available. All proceeds will go to the church’s fuel fund. Donations are welcome. The church is located along Route 286 near Commodore.

BAZAAR: An Election Day bazaar by the Creekside United Methodist Women will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday in the church fellowship hall. The bazaar will include a luncheon and bake sale. Come out to vote and stop in for lunch. The menu will include homemade vegetable soup, chicken noodle soup, wedding soup, potato soup, ham and cabbage soup, sandwiches and pie for dessert. There will also be white elephant items. Proceeds go to local missions.
MEETING: Elks Ladies Auxiliary 931, Indiana, will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Elks Lodge. Officers are to come a half-hour earlier for rehearsal. This will include the initiation of new members. Chairwomen for the event are Linda Short and Twila Montgomery.
MEETING: Catholic Daughters Court St. Bernard 339, Indiana, will hold their monthly meeting Nov. 14 with Rosary at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting at 7 p.m. in the St. Bernard Social Hall. Chairwomen for the event are Ann Poliziani and Betty Lukehart.
DINNER: A chicken and halupki dinner, sponsored by St. Bernard Church Family and CDA 339 and Knights of Columbus, will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Nov. 10 at St. Bernard Church Social Hall, 200 Clairvaux Drive, White Township. Tickets are $10 for adults, $4 for children ages 7 to 11 and free for children 6 and younger. Proceeds benefit Ken and Nancy Robinson, who lost their home, dog and all their possessions in a fire on IUP Homecoming night. Takeouts will be available. Make all checks payable to St. Bernard Church and in the memo section write “Robinson Benefit.”
