Quota International of Indiana has donated more than $500 worth of children’s “gutchies” (underwear) and toiletries during the group’s “Gutchies for Kidz” collection for homeless children in the region.
The club donated the items to the Armstrong-Indiana Intermediate Unit’s Pennsylvania Homeless Children Initiative for distribution to children in need. In the fall of 2011, the club collected more than 1,000 pairs of underwear for children. The program began in June 2009 with Quota International of Hermitage, a member of Quota District 3, which includes Quota of Indiana.
The club celebrated its 55th anniversary in September.
Membership in Quota is open to all. For more information, contact President Amy Taylor-Liboski at (724) 549-6512 or visit www.indianaquota.org.
