Veterans invited to services

The First Baptist Church of Glen Campbell will conduct a Community Veterans Day service of sacred worship at 2:30 p.m. Monday in honor of all the U.S. veterans who have faithfully served their country.

The service is intended for everyone in the general public.

The service is in cooperation with the Glen Campbell Pennington-Fee American Legion Post and its members. The Rev. Dr. Allan N. Campbell will lead the worship, which is open to the entire community, and will deliver a message titled “Remembering Their Sacrifices.”

A color guard from the Glen Campbell American Legion will be in attendance. Following the worship service a dinner will be held at the legion, sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary. Organist for this service will be Robert Copeland.

The Homer City American Legion Post #493 will hold a Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. at the American Legion with a light lunch to follow. The public is invited.
