HOCKEY: Indiana teams score wins

The Indiana Youth Hockey Association’s Pee Wee A Major White Division team defeated the Allegheny Badgers, 5-2, on Saturday.

Zach Eisenhower scored a hat trick to lead Indiana. Eddie Williams added two goals, Orlando Clark had three assists, and Matt Berzonsky, Colby France and Owen Lydick each tacked on an assist. Goalie Alex Nanni made 14 saves.

The visiting Bantam A Minor Gold Division team beat the Allegheny Badgers, 3-1, on Saturday.

Nate Farris had a goal and an assist to pace Indiana (4-1). Ryan Neese and Clark Josephson each added a goal, and Luke Schrecengost, Zach Beitel and Nick Buchkovich each chipped in an assist. Goalie Alec Stiffler made four saves.

Korbin Wilson scored three goals to power the Squirt A-2 Division team to a 6-4 win over the Pittsburgh Predators on Nov. 2.

Danny Williams added two goals and an assist, Nick Beitel had a goal and an assist, and Daniel McAnulty tallied three assists. Wade Plowman, Tanner Macblane and Zach Brody each collected an assist, and goalie Ethan Agnello made nine saves.

The U-14 girls’ team forged a 3-3 tie with host North Hills on Saturday.

Allisyn Arotin notched two goals and an assist, Natilie Hill had a goal, and Taylor Lang, Carlie Glavach and Ashley Yanni collected an assist apiece. Goalie Madison Barker made six saves.
