MARION CENTER — The holiday season is now here and Marion Center High School invites you to join in the festivities. Marion Center’s student council will be sponsoring a Breakfast with Santa again this year in the McCreery cafeteria on Dec. 7 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Kyle Hicks, a senior, is organizing the festive breakfast as his graduation project. The theme for Santa’s Breakfast will be “Christmas on the Farm.”
Hicks said, “The fun-filled morning will include a breakfast, games, crafts and treats. Santa and his elves will visit with the diners and every child will get a chance to sit on Santa’s lap. Everyone is encouraged to come join in on the fun.”
The event is open to the community. The cost is $4 for children, $7 for adults, and free for children less than 1-year-old. Reservations are limited, and can be made by contacting Gena Anthony, student council adviser, by email at email@example.com or by phone at (724) 397-5551, ext. 1114. Reservations must be made no later than Nov. 26.
Student council will also be accepting monetary and gift donations at the breakfast. Because Christmastime is about giving, we will also be collecting small gifts, such as coloring books, crayons, markers, small toys, etc. These will be donated to The Salvation Army to help give back to the community. Please help make this year’s Christmas a special one. Any money collected will be donated to The Salvation Army as well.
