Criminal mischief

Someone slashed four fires on a vehicle belonging to Christopher Zeisler, of Indiana, between 10:30 p.m. Monday and 4 a.m. Tuesday while it was parked at Poet’s Village, state police at Indiana reported.

Theft by unlawful taking

State police at Indiana said they are investigating the possible theft and forgery of personal checks from a bank account belonging to the estate of Ronald Carpenter, formerly of Indiana. The total loss, police said, is $1,575.

State police at Indiana reported that someone stole a propane grill belong to Millicent Enderline, 66, of Indiana, on Tuesday from a Fairview Avenue location.

Underage drinking

Ricardo Phillips Jr., 18, of Cape May, N.J., was charged with underage drinking after he fell asleep in the shower, causing a room and a hallway to flood, around 6:45 p.m. Sunday in Putt Hall at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, according to IUP police. Phillips was released to a sober adult, police said.


Disorderly conduct

IUP police report that IUP student Nicholas Smith, 18, of Allison Park, was charged with disorderly conduct following an incident just before 1 p.m. Sunday in Stephenson Hall.

Hit-and-run accident

Indiana Borough police said they are investigating a hit-and-run crash that happened between 12:45 and 1 p.m. Tuesday at 100 S. Clymer Ave. They report that a silver pickup truck hit a silver Hyundai sedan then fled.

State police at Indiana report that they are investigating the theft of a Sony Double Din Touch Screen Radio from the front seat of a Jeep Cherokee owned by Bradley Hitchcock, of Indiana.

The radio was stolen, police said, between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. Nov. 10 from Sabo’s Garage at 1024 N. Harmony Road.

State police at Kittanning said that they are investigating a report that a juvenile girl was sexually assaulted by an adult male at 9 a.m. Sunday. The accused was known to the victim, but not in a caregiver role, according to police.

Someone damaged vehicles owned by Ralph Beaty, 55, of Latrobe, and Kimberly Muldowney, no age given, of Saltsburg, between 4 p.m. Sunday and 10:30 a.m. Monday at Scott Court, according to state police at Greensburg.
