BSA troop to hold Hunter’s Fest

MARION CENTER — Boy Scout Troop 50’s three-day Hunter’s Fest will be held Saturday through Monday at Marion Center Park Hall.

The event will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and 4 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, the first day of rifle buck season.

Meals are $6 and consist of buckwheat cakes, pancakes, French toast, sausage and beverages. Meals are $3 for children 3 and younger. Takeout meals will be available.

Breakfast, lunch set for hunters

The Chevy Chase Community Center’s inaugural hunter’s breakfast and lunch will be held Monday.

Breakfast is from 4 to 8 a.m. and features pancakes, toast, sausage, scrambled eggs, pan-fried potatoes, coffee, tea and juice.

Lunch is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and consists of beef stew, salad, fresh bread, fruit and dessert.

The cost for two meals is $8.50. For breakfast only, advance tickets are $5 for each meal. At the door, tickets cost $7.50 per meal.

The deadline to purchase advanced tickets is Wedensday at 1:30 p.m. They can be purchased at 640 N. Fifth Ave., Indiana.
