Four people were jailed this week after being charged with felony drug offenses, Indiana Borough police reported.
Investigators accused Robert Duncan, 36, of Indiana; Melinda Griffen, 31, of Indiana; Stevland Parks, 28, of Verona, Allegheny County; and Rashid Walker, 24, of Wilkinsburg, Allegheny County, of possessing crack cocaine at 9 a.m. Tuesday on the 300 block of Philadelphia Street. Officers also accused Duncan and Griffen of possessing paraphernalia related to heroin used.
Indiana Borough police reported no details of what led to discovery of contraband in the suspects’ possession.
Online court records show District Judge Susanne Steffee set bond at $50,000 for Duncan and Griffen and at $150,000 for Parks and Walker at their preliminary arraignments in Homer City District Court, and ordered all to appear Jan. 13 for preliminary hearings.
Each has been charged with possession with intent to deliver drugs and conspiracy, both felonies, and possession of drugs and possession of paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.
