The Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission will sponsor a free business financing seminar in Pittsburgh from 9 to 11 a.m. on Jan. 16.
The seminar will provide an overview of the different state loan programs made available through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. In addition there will be presentations by the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission, the University of Pittsburgh Small Business Development Center and Catalyst Connection.
Information to be covered includes state loan programs, local/regional lenders and programs, how to apply for capital and how to get started/business plans/projections.
The seminar will be held at Two Chatham Center (fourth floor), 112 Washington Place. Registration and a continental breakfast will precede the seminar at 8:30 a.m.
