Both IUP swim teams won 10 events en route to a sweep of Wheeling Jesuit on Thursday in the Winter-Spring Invitational at the Pidgeon Natatorium.
On the women’s side, Taylor Snyder (50- and 100-meter freestyle), Aniella Janosky (50 and 100 butterfly) and Christina Janosky (200 and 500 freestyle) each won a pair of events to lead IUP.
IUP took the 200 medley relay with the team of Emily Shumaker, Allyson Mitidieri, Aniella Janosky and Snyder.
Also picking up wins were Shumaker in the 50 backstroke, Emily Clark in the 50 breaststroke and Mitidieri in the 100 breaststroke.
For the men, Steve Long and Chris Strauss each won a pair of events. Long took the 50 and 100 butterfly, and Strauss won the 100 and 200 freestyle. Also winning were: Paul Singerman in the 50 backstroke; Zach Fountain in the 50 breaststroke; Alex Cummings in the 100 breaststroke; Brandon Hopkins in the 500 freestyle; and Andrew Richey in the 50 freestyle.
The 200-yard medley relay team, which consisted of Singerman, Fountain, Long and Richey, also won.
IUP competes in the South Florida Relays on Jan. 12.
