CLYMER — Recently, the girls’ and boys’ basketball teams from Calvary Baptist Academy participated in the Calvary Christian Academy basketball tournament in Huntingdon.

At the end of this tournament, some members from the participating teams were chosen to be on the all-tournament team.

The Calvary Baptist Academy recipients of this award were three seniors, Megan Plants, Andy Knupp and Tyler Chambers; a sophomore, Joel Knupp; and a freshman, Kayla Chambers.

The girls’ basketball team won its division of the tournament, and the boys’ team finished third in theirs.

In other areas, last week all of the high school students at Calvary Baptist Academy participated in the annual semester exams.

This time of exams can be used by the students as a means of really improving their grades, but the students must prepare accordingly, of course.

If the students did not do as well in the exams as they would have liked, then the new semester provides for a way for the students to have a fresh start of sorts.

The students are already starting the new semester.

All of the students are looking forward to what this semester will include; hopefully it will be full of wonderful things for Calvary Baptist Academy.
