PURCHASE LINE — A lasagna dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Purchase Line United Methodist Church, in the activity building.
The cost is a donation. The dinner is sponsored by the PLUM Youth Group, and proceeds benefit the group.
Author and Bible teacher John Bevere will present a video teaching series, “A Heart Ablaze,” beginning at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Cornerstone Worship Center, 500 Lenz Road, White Township.
The 12-week video series is based on Bevere’s book of the same title. The series will continue two days later at 6:30 p.m. and on subsequent Tuesdays.

HOMER CITY — The annual Shrove Tuesday pancake and sausage dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. March 4 at Hope Lutheran Church, 35 Ridge Ave., Homer City.

SPRING CHURCH — The Spring Church Lutheran Church Spring Session of Faith Friends in kindergarten through sixth grade will begin March 4 and continue each Tuesday evening through April 8. Each session begins at 5 p.m. with a light supper followed by a Bible story and craft. Evening sessions will conclude at 6:30 p.m.
If school is canceled during the day due to weather, Faith Friends will be canceled as well. The theme is “Trust in God.”

Trip to the Holy Land
The Rev. Paul Morris is planning to lead a group trip to the Holy Land. The group will depart on Nov. 10 for a 10-day trip that includes visits to Galilee, Nazareth, the Mount of Olives, Jerusalem and the Garden Tomb.
The travel/study program has been arranged by Educational Opportunities, a Christian tour company whose main objective is to provide pastors and laity with affordable, first-class learning experiences in the land of the Bible. The tour will include sightseeing, daily devotions and informative lectures.
The cost of the pilgrimage is an all-inclusive price of $3,346 and leaves from Pittsburgh.

Catholic school applications
