WEDDING: Renee Fyock and Michael Baker

Renee Leanne Fyock, daughter of Jeff and Sandy Fyock, of Indiana, and Michael Allen Baker, son of Nancy Baker, of Indiana, and the late Mark Baker, were united in marriage on June 22, 2013, at St. Bernard Church, Indiana.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents, and Father William Kiel performed the ceremony.

Renee wore a strapless sleek satin gown with rhinestones, Swarovski crystals, crystal sequins, silver beadwork and embroidery. It featured a sweetheart neckline and a fit and flare silhouette with beaded buttons ending at the embellishments on the train. She carried a bouquet of tropical flowers. Throughout the bouquet were little portraits of loved ones that had passed, in memory of the groom’s father and their grandparents.

The maids of honor and bridesmaids wore knee-length gowns in different tropical colors. Each carried a bouquet of white and pink orchids.

The maids of honor were Maria and Sarah Fyock, sisters of the bride, of Indiana; and bridesmaids were Heather Shank, of Home; Kelly Baker, of Indiana; Ashley Hall, of Marion Center; Jackie Lostrick, of Brush Valley; Leigh Frenco, of Florida; Laurie Hetrick, of Indiana; and Jessica Lashinsky, of Starford. The flower girl was Adyson Hall, friend of the bride.

The best man was Matthew Baker, brother of the groom, of Indiana. Groomsmen were Ben Bailey, of Rochester Mills; Garrett Shank, of Home; T.J. Race, of Indiana; Dan Fyock, brother of the bride, of Indiana; Jeff Fyock, brother of the bride, of Indiana; Mike Griffith, of Clymer; Roger Strong, of Shelocta; and Chris Force, of Indiana. The junior groomsman was Nathan Baker, nephew of the groom, of Indiana; and the ring bearer was Brady Haggerty, cousin of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Event Hall, Shelocta, with entertainment by DJ Nick Hanson.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Marion Center Area High School. She is employed at Penn Mechanical Group in Home. The groom is a 2000 graduate of Marion Center Area High School. He is also employed at Penn Mechanical Group.

Following a honeymoon in Hawaii, Mike and Renee are residing in Indiana.
