SPRING CHURCH — The Spring Church Lutheran Church spring session of Faith Friends in kindergarten through sixth grade continues each Tuesday evening through April 8. Each session begins at 5 p.m. with a light supper followed by a Bible story and craft. Sessions will conclude at 6:30 p.m.
If school is canceled during the day due to weather, Faith Friends will be canceled as well. The theme is “Trust in God.”

Lenten soup luncheons
Soup luncheons open to the entire community will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays during Lent at Zion Lutheran Church, Sixth and Church streets, Indiana.
Every Tuesday, three different soups, including a vegetarian selection, will be offered with bread and dessert. Takeout will be available. Diners will be asked to make free-will offerings to benefit the church’s Community Food Pantry.
This Tuesday the menu is Tuscan vegetable soup, lasagna soup and Italian chicken soup.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the event, every 50th person eating in will receive their meal for only 20 cents.

Italian feast night
SHELOCTA — The Shelocta Presbyterian Church will be holding an Italian feast night from 4 to 7 p.m. March 22.
On the menu is spaghetti with meatballs, stuffed shells with marinara sauce, salad, garlic breadsticks, homemade desserts and hot or cold beverages. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children 5 to 12, and free for children 4 and younger.
The Presbyterian Men’s Group is sponsoring the event to finance ongoing church renovations and local giving.

KENWOOD — The Kenwood Church of the Nazarene will hold revival services with the Rev. Scott Ferguson from March 23-26.
A covered-dish dinner will be held at noon March 23 in the Family Center at the church. Sunday services are at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., and weekday services are at 7 p.m.
The Rev. Ferguson has ministered in Mexico, Russia, Jamaica, Belize and Ukraine. His ministry reaches all ages. A talented vocal and keyboard artist, he has passion for saving souls.

FIVE POINTS — Women Growing in Faith will be hosting a Ladies Day Out Tea, with registration beginning at 9:30 a.m. March 29, at Harmony Grove Lutheran Church, 6584 Five Points Road, Five Points.
Michele Huey, writer of the weekly “God, Me and a Cup of Tea” column in The Indiana Gazette, will be the guest speaker with the topic “What Kind of Bag Are You?” Lunch will be provided and there will be door prizes. The cost is $15 per person.

Drama to be performed
DAYTON — The Dayton Community Theater Group will perform “A Golden Fleecing,” by R. Eugene Jackson, March 29 at the Christian Life Center, 105 E. Church Ave., Dayton. The performance is produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service Inc., Englewood, Colo.
The cost is $10 per person. There will be a buffet meal with sandwiches, salads and ice cream bars. Proceeds will go to roof repair at Dayton United Methodist Church.
HOMER CITY — St. Mary’s Holy Protection Byzantine Catholic Church, 279 Yellow Creek St., Homer City, will hold a nut, poppyseed and apricot roll sale, at $10 reach, and a cooked pirohy sale at $9 a dozen, on March 31 to April 1.
