CLYMER — On Feb. 28 and March 1, Calvary Baptist Academy hosted the Keystone Christian Education Association state tournament for boys’ and girls’ basketball. This tournament marked the end of the basketball season.
At the end of this tournament, the coaches of all the teams present voted for the young men and women from the other teams that they believe gave their best in the games.

The coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team members, to keep it fair. The players chosen were then called out to receive their medals at the closing ceremony.
The players from Calvary Baptist Academy that were chosen for the all-tournament team this year were senior Megan Plants and sophomore Rachel Covato for the girls; and seniors Tyler Chambers, Andy Knupp and Jerry Zhang for the boys.
All the teams at the state tournament played to the best of their ability and had a great time.
The players all worked hard during the season and will definitely miss playing, even though they may not miss all the hard work during practice times.
