HTE classes to be held
Hunter-trapper education classes are set for each of the next three months at Indiana County sites.
Prior to attending a class, participants must complete the online independent study. All participants must be 11 or older by the date of the class.
Registration and the online study are available at www.state.pa.us.
• MARION CENTER — A class will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Marion Center Park Hall.
The class is limited to 45 participants.

• ARCADIA — A class will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at the Montgomery Township Rod and Gun Club.

Cable restraint class set at club
The Indiana County Fox and Coon Hunters Association will hold a successful trapper education class on Saturday, April 5, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The class will include the cable restraint certification course and cover tips, techniques and game laws as they pertain to trapping.
Lunch will be provided by the club.

Blackleggs group slates meetings
YOUNG TOWNSHIP — The Blackleggs Trout Nursery and Watershed Association will hold its regular monthly meeting the first Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at Saltsburg Sportsman Club.
To reach the club, turn right off Route 286 West at the township building and travel approximately one mile to the club on the right.

Turkey shoots on tap at East Run
MARION CENTER — The East Run Sportsman’s Club will hold turkey shoots on four Sundays: March 23, March 30, April 6 and April 27.
Registration begins at noon, and the shoots begin at 12:20 p.m.

Cowboy Action Shoots scheduled
Cowboy Action Shoots will be held at the Indiana County Bow and Club on April 27, May 18, June 22, July 27, Aug. 24, Sept. 28 and Oct. 12.
Registration will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. followed by a mandatory safety meeting.
The entry fee is $15. Shooters under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent. No shooters under 12 are allowed.
Single Action Shooting Society rules apply. Appropriate dress of the late 1800s is required.

Rabies clinic to be held
ARMAGH — A rabies clinic administered by Frazer Veterinary will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Armagh & East Wheatfield Fire Hall truck bay.
The cost is $12 per shot.
Indiana County dog licenses will be available.
