Locals enjoy warm weather before winter's return

Mary Vann, of Brush Valley, and her dachshund Bella took a break at a picnic table on Tuesday while out for a walk in Yellow Creek State Park.

Sunny skies and temperatures in the 60s gave residents of Indiana County a much-needed break from the long-running streak of cold weather.

However, wind, rain and snow are expected today, according to AccuWeather, with temperatures dropping into single digits tonight.
