Loyalhanna Township, Westmoreland County

One person was injured in a one-vehicle crash on County Road at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday.

State police at the Kiski Valley Station said Benjamin Golik, 21, of Saltsburg, made an illegal pass of another vehicle and then lost control of his car. It hit an embankment and rolled over three times.

Police said Golik got out of his car, and it caught on fire and was burning when police arrived.

Golik was hurt and taken by ambulance to UPMC East Hospital in Monroeville. A hospital spokeswoman said there was no record of his admission there.

Volunteer firefighters from Saltsburg and Slickville assisted police at the scene.
