Criminal mischief

Borough police are trying to identify two men who scratched 11 vehicles parked at AutoSport, 1115 Philadelphia St., early Sunday morning. Police said the incident occurred around 2:25 a.m. Police said they are reviewing camera footage to identify the men.



An unidentified vehicle struck another parked in a grassy lot off Goat Alley and then drove off early Saturday morning, according to state police in Indiana. Police said the vehicle they are looking for is believed to be white, possibly a pickup truck or a sport utility vehicle. Police said the incident occurred between midnight and 2:30 a.m.

Anyone with any information has been asked to call police at (724) 357-1960.


Cindy Painter, of Homer City, told state police at Indiana someone stole an orange BMX bicycle from her property at 187 Fire Academy Road.

Police said the bike was taken between April 6 and 8.

Simple assault

State police at Indiana are investigating a simple assault at 1 a.m. Saturday. Police said Jessica Elliott, of Black Lick, told police she was punched in the eye by another person.


Casey Mohney, 43, of Cherry Tree, was cited with a summary count of criminal mischief by state police, who accused him of breaking the rear window of a vehicle owned by an Indiana man at 4:20 p.m. April 4 on Locust Street in Coral.



State police in Indiana said they cited Cecilia Johnson, no age given, and Jatarious Ray, no age given, with harassment on Tuesday afternoon.

According to police, the two struck and shoved each other during an argument at an apartment at 1330 Strangford Road.


Theft from vehicle

Someone took a pink and brown plaid book bag and a purse from a vehicle parked in the Kmart lot at Indiana Mall on Wednesday afternoon, according to state police in Indiana. Police said the book bag and purse belong to a 13-year-old Lucernemines girl.
