As I was going through the weekend mail, I came across a card from the Corbin Coalition, accusing Chris Dush of running a highly negative campaign.
This came as a significant surprise to me since not only has Mr. Dush made a lengthy personal visit to our family at our home and business, but we have also been contacted by members of his election committee, who shared with us his personal beliefs and qualifications for the job of state representative, and at no time was there any mention of his opponent, Paul Corbin.
Our friends and family members have attended several of his “Meet the Candidate” events and have constantly commented on the genuine, positive messages that were shared at these events.
It has been my experience that when negative campaign accusations like these are made, they are usually made by people who are doing it themselves or are going to do it.
Perhaps Mr. Corbin may want to instruct his committee to check their claims a little closer, or they may be found to be the “negative campaign folks” — out there by themselves.
