PITTSBURGH — The Steelers will officially kick off their 2014 season when the team reports to training camp on Friday, July 25, at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe.
This will be the 49th year the Steelers will train at Saint Vincent College.
The first open practice to the public is scheduled for Saturday, July 26. The first practice in pads for the Steelers is scheduled for Monday, July 28.
The Steelers’ annual night practice at Latrobe’s Memorial Stadium will take place on Friday, Aug. 1, at 7 p.m. In addition, the Steelers will hold two joint practices with the Buffalo Bills (Aug. 13 and 14), including an evening practice at Saint Vincent College with the Bills on Thursday, Aug. 14, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The team’s joint practice with the Bills on Aug. 14 will be the last practice open to the public.
Camp will break on Saturday, Aug. 16, the same day the team faces the Bills at Heinz Field for the preseason home opener at 7:30 p.m.
