If your children are looking for something fun to do and would like to explore new things this summer, the Indiana County 4-H Program has a special opportunity for them.

The 4-H program is sponsoring three day camps this summer in the county.

With the theme, “Go Wild,” the camp program will focus on wildlife, forestry, the environment and nature and will include many hands-on activities. Campers will do things such as taste a tree, investigate owl burps, meet wildlife, do experiments, make crafts, eat snacks, meet new friends, go on a tour and, most importantly, have fun.

The camps will be held at three separate locations: Blairsville, July 8 to 10 at the United Presbyterian Church; Penn Run/Clymer area, July 15 to 17, New Horizons Retreat Center; Plumville, Aug. 5 to 7 at the Plumville Presbyterian Church.

Campers must be between the ages 7 to 12. Youth 13 and older are encouraged to apply for teen helper positions.

Cost is $35 per camper. Campers will also receive a free t-shirt. AgChoice Farm Credit is a camp donor.
