The United Way of Indiana County’s 2014 fundraising campaign is gearing up, and tickets are now available for their very first event.
The September 30-day Giveaway is a fundraising project in its third year with UWIC.
Ticket holders will have opportunities all month long to win from $100 to $200 in cash and prizes each day.
At the end of the month, a grand prize of $1,300 will be awarded.
Prizes are sponsored by more than 30 Indiana County individuals and businesses, with the $1,300 grand prize co-sponsored by First Commonwealth Bank, S&T Bank, PSECU and Indiana First Bank. Project design and printing sponsors are The Park Press, AFS Financial Services, Colonial Motor Mart and Diamond Drug.
Tickets for the giveaway are available now for $10 from any United Way board member, at select businesses in Indiana County, and will also be sold at the Indiana County Fair.
Tickets can also be purchased by calling the United Way office at (724) 463-0277.
Drawings begin the first day of September.
The United Way of Indiana County and its 15 partner agencies impact 1 in 2 individuals in Indiana County by investing critical resources in education, income and health.
Donations to the United Way of Indiana County remain in the local community, funding programs at the 15 partner agencies and supporting additional programs that benefit Indiana County residents.
