A district judge sent two suspects to Indiana County Jail and issued an arrest warrant for a third after they were accused of a strong-arm robbery early Sunday in Indiana.
Borough Detective Scott Schuller reported Percy Spearman, 38, of Indiana, remained at large following the investigation into a holdup at 3:54 a.m. at a residence on North Foundry Avenue, an alley just off the 1000 block of Philadelphia Street.
Police picked up suspects Jerome Robinson, 38, and Doneisha Thomas, 24, both of Indiana, on Sunday afternoon according to the report.
Schuller withheld the victims’ names and reported that some suffered minor injuries when a scuffle broke out among the suspects and the victims — one, a minor boy who was sent to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The victims told police that Robinson, Spearman and Thomas came to their door, demanded money, started an argument and forced their way in.
Borough police were sent out after someone in the apartment dialed 911 and immediately hung up.
All face the same charges: two counts of robbery and one each of burglary, criminal trespass, aggravated assault and riot, all felonies, and misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, simple assault, theft, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Thomas was charged with two additional counts of providing false identification to law enforcement.
Police also asked anyone with information about Spearman to phone (724) 349-2121.
