Monica Beltowski is a para-educator in the junior/senior high school. She has vast knowledge within the different content areas, as she has been with Harmony Area School District for 26 years.

Beltowski shows great compassion for her students. She is well-respected among the students, faculty, administration and staff.

She also serves her community as a member of the Indiana County Municipal Services Authority. She is a very generous person and always goes out of her way to help others. Now it is the Harmony community’s turn to help support Beltowski.

She is currently undergoing treatments and is looking to have surgery soon. Due to her illness and treatments, Beltowski has been unable to work.

Therefore, a spaghetti dinner/basket raffle will be held to raise money for medical costs that are not covered by her insurance and for her transportation to and from treatments.

The dinner will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Harmony Grange Fairgrounds.

The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 10 and younger. Take-out is available.

If anyone would like to help by donating a basket or helping with the dinner, contact Kathy Weaver at (814) 243-5695, Tiffany Weaver at (814) 243-3763 or Carol at (724) 762-2294.
